Ok, a little disclaimer on this one. I literally wanted to somehow make flip books a part of their wedding album. These two and their wedding party were SO MUCH FUN!!! They had all kinds of crazy sequenced ideas for funny pictures they wanted to take to go along with Maria and Anthony’s bodybuilding and Thor themes. So I learned how to make gif’s (thank goodness for you, youtube). I’m thinking this will be the only time you’ll see them on my site, but I just couldn’t hold back (scroll down to see them). Enjoy!
Maria had told me ahead of time about this Icarus painting in the library, and how much she loves it. I was thrilled to see she was getting ready in that room. Love their color scheme – orange and purple. Come ON, that’s awesome. And Anthony’s grandmother was the flower girl. How sweet is that?Anthony (and his mom) watching Maria walk down the aisle.Orthodox weddings are steeped in so much beautiful tradition. I love this about them.Oh, the laughing! And the crying! Then these two iron-pumping, body-building lovers had all their guests strike a muscle pose as they left the church. Can quite honestly say I’ve never taken a picture like that before!Maria crocheted her bouquet, and it had her grandmothers’ earrings sewn in. Beautiful. Our version of a damsel-in-distress (promise this girl doesn’t need any rescuing) movie poster for Thor! Again with the muscle poses! Awesome!Ok, here it is. The thing that took me hours somehow. Enjoy! And another. 🙂So I was all, “Hey guys, go back there and just give a little walk towards me.” And they were all, “Let’s kick and jump and shout instead!” Again, awesome.By the power of their names combined, they become “Team DO.” And the teamwork between these two is surely something wonderful!Mother/son dance was to “Happy” by Pharrel. And were they ever happy! Then they announced that there would be ice cream – neopolitan and rainbow sherbet – in lieu of cake, to honor grandparents. Anthony teared up a little. And there was his brother, right by his side, wiping off tears and pretending it was sweat. And then came dancing!!!Why yes, there IS total double dutch jump rope in the next image. With an invisible rope. And she got tripped up, too. 🙂Team DO!!! I will be forever chanting your name and cheering you on! You guys rock, and are surrounded by some seriously fun and caring people. So much love as you begin married life together, Mjolnir in hand!
