I have LOVED working with this family. Getting all these images together for Kent’s first year post brought back great memories of his big brother’s first year. Two very different stories (you’ll see what I mean by the end), but lots of love here:) Mama tearing up at the newborn session made me tear up as well. So beautiful. Sitting-up session was at the Downtown Library. Such a fun place for kids. He had so much fun playing with his family here. Next, we went to Peapod Play Cafe. This was my first time here, and it is a great space for little and big kids, with a really sweet owner. Thank you for the welcome, Peapod! And for his one-year session, we did my favorite thing – played at home. I LOVE pj shots and the comfort and every day-ness of home. This little man has a great mama, who is very aware of making sure things are equal with her two boys. And so we did a cake smash, just like his brother did a few years back. It was NOT met with the same level of joy, nor smash. And I love this:) Big bro shows him how it’s done. “Why, mama? Why?” I love, love, love watching babies grow. And it has been such a joy to be a part of this little buddy’s first year!
If you are expecting a new little one in your life soon (or know someone who is), and would like more information on a first year experience, let me know here. I am excited to chat with you!
