snow, golden crowns, and some serious dancing – an orthodox wedding

orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography“Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

When I saw this quote from the author of one of my favorite books – The Little Prince – come up in Katie’s and Jared’s request for quotes in their engagement album, I smiled.  These two are delightful.  There’s no better word.  Katie’s smile lights up the room – no joke.  And the way that Jared loves her so sweetly is something amazing.

Katie’s day began at the Courtyard by Marriott, where she laughed with friends and picked out jewelry for the day from her mother’s jewelry bags and boxes.  orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography I almost got my car stuck trekking the long driveway in drifting snow to Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful.orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography The flowers from Auburn Pointe Greenhouse were gorgeous.orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photographyI can’t go past the next image without giving serious cheers to the maid-of-honor and best man, who held these crowns up for a very, very long time! orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photographyorthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography After a most beautiful ceremony, we headed to St. Sava Serbain Orthodox Church for the reception.  I LOVE their baseball cake topper on the cake (Michael Angelo’s Bakery)!orthodox wedding, ohio wedding photography Their first dance may have been one of my favorite parts of the whole day.  They started with a formal dance – one that they had practiced – when all of a sudden, she whispered something with a smile.
