“hello,” rainbows, and birthday candles

My baby turned 3 last month.  It was a pretty big deal, celebrated twice – once with extended family, once with just us.  Lots of hello kitty and rainbows, tattoos, and even a komodo dragon.

It was pretty great to think back to her birthday a year ago, when we had just brought this beautiful, wondrous girl home.  She is so very different now.  So comfortable, and peaceful.  SO joyous!
